Instead, you need to download Multiplex from the download link provided, and it will be correctly licensed to you. I have lots of movies ripped onto my external usb drive, which is being indexed by spotlight. They are in m4v or video_ts folders. If I drag over the m4v files then yes Multiplex will find then, but I cannot seem to find a way to add all the other movies, nor play them. Plex does this very successfully and is free, so what I am supposed to be gaining here for a product that costs money. So far I have to say this is not working for me.
