Version 0.96.2

It’s been a while since an update. What have we been up to?

Multiplex now supports NON-DVD MEDIA

That’s right, we heard your cry! Multiplex now has full support for manually adding non-DVD media to Multiplex! We’ve gone to great lengths to make the experience right – simply go to the File menu and select the “Add non-DVD media” menu option, or even better, drag and drop your media right on to Multiplex or the Multiplex icon in your OS X dock!

We’ve even set Multiplex up to track your other media as you move it around, rename it, etc.  Once added to Multiplex, it will look and act just like DVD media, open in the appropriate application when you click “Play”, dim out if the drive it’s located on is detached, etc.  All the goodies, tons more movies.  (Non-DVD media will not enjoy the benefits of the “coming-soon” in-app player and on-demand encoder for streaming to your home theater.)

PLEASE NOTE: This is a NEW feature, and while we believe it’s solid, it’s slightly experimental. Please report any proplems you have with the feature on our forums.
